Well we are expecting our first joey soon.  The baby is big enough that the pouch opening is gapping a bit and you can see the joey's coat.  I can't wait!  Hubby did say though that I am not allowed to keep the joey.  Between the 2 horses, 2 donkeys, 50 chickens, 1 cat, 1 dog, 3 pigs, 3 adult sugar gliders and 3 button quail, and of coarse the 3 of us, he is putting his foot down for awile ( that doesn't however apply to the chickens, just any other animal)

Well the baby has one eye open now.  it is just to cute!.  I try to handel it every night so it will be very friendly.  My husband told me however that I cannot keep it.  I have a bad habbit of keeping to many animals.  I have 2 horses, 2 donkeys, 3 pigs, 50 or so shickens, 1 cat and 3 sugargliders and the joey.  He said that I have enough and don't need any more right now.

Well, he is 4 weeks oop now.  And so cute.  I think it is going to be very hard to get rid of him, but I know that I will have to.  I am amazed at what good, active parents these little animals are.  The fathers take a very actice roll in raising the young
