Hello Opal... I don't have donkeys but I am seriously considering mini donkeys; hear that they're a lot less trouble than other livestock :-) . I have done my research and believe that they are great protectors.... (well at least the big ones). I hope you enjoy and love your donkeys for a long time...

I love my donkeys. The are so easy to care for and great with all the rest of the animals. My orphaned Jenny sleeps in the hen house with the chickens! they are both just like big dogs and would come inside if I would let them!
